Francisco Noya, New Phil’s 2015-2016 Conductor and Artistic Advisor, leads the Orchestra as it kicks off the 21st season.

The program opens with Arvo Pärt’s landmark 'Cantus (in memory of Benjamin Britten).' Returning to the New Phil stage, BSO’s renowned Principal Second Violin Haldan Martinson performs Dvorak’s Violin Concerto, one of the great works of the repertoire, noted for its lyrical beauty and virtuosity.

The program concludes with Jean Sibelius monumental Symphony No.
