On Sunday, December 20, join Emerging Boston Area Singer-Songwriters at our most intimate, interactive event—our Songwriting Workshop and Open Stage at Gallery 263.

From 6-7:30, enjoy a songwriting workshop led by this month’s guest facilitator Danielle Miraglia.

From 7:30 – 9, enjoy the Open Stage portion of the event, where everyone (time permitting!) can share up to two songs with the audience.

$5 Cover
Open to All
Acoustic, Original Music Only

Danielle Miraglia is a renowned Boston-based songwriter and blues artist.

She’s toured and played major venues across the United States and beyond, shining in both the Folk and Blues circuits including New York State Blues Festival, New Bedford Summerfest, The Narrows Center for the Arts (Fall River, MA), The Birchmere (Alexandria, VA).

Danielle has shared the stage with the likes of Johnny Winter, Bettye Lavette, John Hammond Jr., Joan Osborne, John Mayall, Sonny Landreth, John Oates, and more.

A note from Danielle: “Hey All!

Looking forward to hearing and sharing tunes with you!

Be sure to bring a song that you’re working on, stuck on, something that you like and feel has potential, but might need some fine-tuning.

Don’t bring a song that you feel is complete.

We’re not here to show off our best work, but to get an outside perspective on what’s working and what’s not working.

You may be saying “Duh, obviously”, but I once had the experience of bringing what I thought was my best song at the time to a workshop and having the group-leader suggest I change the entire chorus.

What!?

So, bring something you’re not sure about.

Sometimes just a little discussion and an outside ear can open up a world of possibilities.

Bring your instrument, pen, paper…something to keep notes.”
