Come, lighten your load with the Lexington Pops Chorus's 'Spring is in the Air!' concert!
Immediately you'll find your spirits lifting with Jazz!
-- Bob Chilcott's 'A Little Jazz Mass'; Gospel!
-- 'Twelve Gates into the City'; and Broadway!
-- 'Rodgers and Hammerstein On Broadway'.
Continue into the second half with the instrumental piece, 'Sentimentale,' – the second movement of 'Suite for Flute and Jazz' – played by Cherie and Kristjan Asgeirsson on flute and drums, Peter Tillotson on bass and Bob Lague on piano.
The Chorus picks up from there with a medley from 'Show Boat', Eric Whitacre's 'The Seal Lullaby,' and much, much more
