Ives, Mozart, and Schubert
Our season finale celebrates the artistic spirit, each work a testament to the composer’s hopes and dreams.
Ives’ early string quartet uses hymn and popular tunes to embody the American spirit.
Schubert’s quintet is one of the last works before he died, a final effort at achieving immortality.
