Come with your whole family to dance and sing along with the 65-member Family Folk Chorale as they present an energized afternoon of uplifting songs celebrating 40 years of U2 as a band.

One of the greatest rock bands of all time, U2 has been marked by their fiery passion and self-belief since they were teenagers in Dublin in 1976.

Constantly experimenting and growing musically, they have explored genres of punk rock, classical orchestration, American and Irish roots music, blues, folk and gospel.

With a sound built on melodic instruments, their themes have ranged from personal to spiritual to sociopolitical concerns.

The Family Folk Chorale, under the direction of Chris Eastburn, will perform iconic U2 favorites and other special, but lesser-known gems.

Eastburn says, “Having been created by one of the greatest rock bands of all time, U2's songwriting is incredibly fertile material to base a concert around.

From infectiously memorable refrains, which will have the entire Family Folk Chorale and audience singing our hearts out, to beautiful sonic landscapes, recreated by our professional band, this concert has something for all generations.

Be sure to grab your parents and kids and come for an uplifting participatory afternoon celebrating the music of U2!”

From solos and parent-child duets to whole ensemble and audience participation songs, the memorable program will fill Arlington Town Hall with U2’s great passion and energy for all to enjoy.

Tickets are $15/children & seniors $12 available through the Family Folk Chorale’s website: familyfolkchorale.org
