Singer-songwriter Florie Namir is an Israeli jazz pop artist whose vocals are backed by her skills on the keyboard.

She had her first piano recital at the age of 9 at her music school, and was enrolled in the music program in her school by the time she reached high school.

In a rock band in Tel Aviv she maintained the role of vocalist, songwriter, and keyboard player.

Upon her arrival to Boston, Florie joined an Eastern-Europen ensemble, Natasha Folk, for 4 years, has had opera performances at Lowell House and Commonwealth Opera, and sang with Jewish Music Theater.

Individually she’s played at The Lizard Lounge, The Lilypad, Fenway Center, Brooklyn Coffee & Tea House (Providence, RI), and Pianos Upstairs (New York, NY).

Florie has always had an affinity for music.

She considers music to be her life and identity, where she is able to express things she otherwise cannot communicate in real life.

Her music is professional, made for a listening room, even soft enough to be background music.

Her work evokes peaceful, relaxed, and optimistic emotions.
