For the first time in the U.S!

A duel...

A truly masculine method of resolving conflicts in matters involving honor and love.

The musical duel between tenors and baritones, invented and embodied on stage by creator and author David Gvinianidze, is a musical contest between two male voices, a friendly competition involving jesting, laughter, and banter amongst the contestants.

Part I is presented as a classical concert primarily composed of opera arias, each aria a kind of 'calling card' characterization of the artist.

Our striking 'dueling' performers have been carefully selected for their star quality, beautiful voice, and remarkable mastery of talent.

Our opera stars will perform masterpieces of popular vocal classics.

Competing vocally and dramatically; duelists reveal themselves to the audience from an unexpected angle, not only performing at the highest level of execution, but with a fair amount of humor.

Taking into account the extraordinary vocal talent and physical appearance of each performer, the audience finds itself in a quandary: Who will excel?

Who will become champion?

A seemingly impossible task.

But, as in any duel, there is a winner: in this concert, it is the electrifying charge of cheerfulness and optimism that carries the audience through the performance.

Joining the tenors and baritones is Talents of the World's President, recipient of the U.N.'s medal for promoting arts and culture, world-renowned baritone David Gvinianidze.

And, what duel would be complete without the beautiful ladies?

Two Prima Donnas: Ukrainian coloratura soprano Olga Lisovskaya (winner of several prestigious competitions and soloist of Commonwealth Lyric Theater, Opera Providence, Opera New Hampshire, among others) and a British/French mezzo-soprano, Sophie Michaux - queen of fioritura, a truly versatile singer.

'Michaux's voice is a luscious shade of burgundy, velvety and ever so slightly smoky...' -The Boston Musical Intelligencer

Devoted to bringing the beauty of vocal classical music to the widest population,Talents of the World is honored to be collaborating with Worcester's own Greater Worcester Opera under the tutelage of GWO's Executive Director and a famous soprano, Elaine Crane.

GWO will add another dimension to this exciting project.
