Revels presents a night of Québécois music with
Le Bruit Court Dans La Ville in Concert
Lisa Ornstein*, André Marchand and Normand Miron
with special guest Josée Vachon*

Fiddler Lisa Ornstein, who delighted audiences in last year's Acadian Christmas Revels returns in May for a concert of traditional Québécois music with Le Bruit Court Dans La Ville featuring herself, guitarist André Marchand and singer/accordionist Normand Miron, all former members of the legendary traditional music group, La Bottine Souriante.

Called 'a trio of artists who helped define traditional Québécois music for their generation' by SING OUT! Magazine, Lisa, André and Normand will be joined by Franco-American singer and tradition bearer Josée Vachon, whose beautiful voice and guitar playing captivated last year's Christmas Revels audiences night in and night out.

Please join us for this exciting evening of music, song and spirit!

Grace Vision Church is handicap accessible.

The concert will consist of two 45 minute sets with a single intermission.

About Le Brut Court Dans La Ville
The joy of Le Bruit Court Dans La Ville is in the music these three craft together. — SING OUT! Magazine 2014.

Lisa Ornstein, Normand Miron and André Marchand are legends of Quebec’s traditional music scene. Fiddler Lisa and guitarist/singer André first met as bandmates in La Bottine Souriante, the iconic trad super group which kickstarted Quebec’s folk music revival. Normand is a marvelous singer and accordionist who grew up surrounded by family musicians in Lanaudiére, the epicenter of Quebec’s folk scene. As a trio, Le Bruit Court dans La Ville’s music is deeply-rooted, innovative, nuanced, and spontaneous.

About Josée Vachon
Born in Quebec and raised in Maine, Josée Vachon began her career as a singer and guitarist in 1980 with support from the Franco-American Center while a
student at the University of Maine, quickly winning over audiences across new England and Canada. Devoted to her language and her heritage, Josée shares
traditional French folk songs from Quebec and Acadia and has 12 solo recordings to her credit.
