An Evening of classical and new compositions featuring cello, and gayageum in the majestic church in Newton Center.

The program includes music by Golijov (cello solo, Yumi Bae), Rachmaninov (from cello sonata with Clera Ryu on piano), and original pieces featuring gayageum (Do Yeon Kim), cello and piano (Chase Morrin); Special collaboration by Yumi Bae, Chase Morrin & Wonmi Jung (NEC, vocal) on the perennial favorite 'My Funny Valentine'.

Just across from the Newton Center T-Station and the town central parking lot.

The program will include:
Golijov, Omaramor, for solo cello Rachmaninov, from Cello Sonata op 19
Boulanger, from Three pieces for cello and piano
Rodgers & Hart, Improvisations on My Funny Valentine for cello, voice & piano Morrin & Kim, Lullaby from Grandmother for Gayageum, piano and recorded voice Chung, 찬기파랑가 for Gayageum solo Kim, Demon for cello & Gayageum
