The Lexington Pops Chorus presents “A Salute to American Composers” January 12th and 13th, 7:30 pm at Hancock Church, 1912 Mass Ave.

Lexington.

Selections include Aaron Copland’s “Old American Songs” featuring Mark Morgan, soloist, Henry Clay Work’s classic “Grandfather’s Clock”, Morten Lauridsen’s beautiful “Sure On This Shining Night”, Gweneth Walker’s “How Can I keep from Singing?”, John Purifoy’s “Address to the Moon”, “Armed Forces - The Pride of America” and much more.

The Lexington Pops Chorus is under the direction of Robert Lague, who has been its Director since its inception in 1982, and is accompanied by David Owens who is in his 15th season with the Chorus.

Tickets at the door are $20 for adults and $5 for children under 13. Tickets may also be purchased on line ($19 and $6.50) or from a chorus member ($17 and $5).
