The band will perform “Overture” from The Marriage of Figaro by Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart, the “William Tell Overture Finale” from William Tell by Gioachino Rossini, “Carmen Suite” from Carmen by Georges Bizet, “Danse Bacchanale” from Samson and Delilah by Camille Saint-Saëns, “Overture” from Orpheus by Jacques Offenbach and “Danza Brilliante” from Aida by Giuseppe Verdi.
The band will also perform “Soldiers' Chorus” and “Festive Dance” from Faust by Charles Gounod and “March” from Tannhauser and “Introduction to Third Act” from Lohengrin by Richard Wagner.
The concert will also include a performance of “Nessun Dorma” from Turandot by Giacomo Puccini, where the ensemble will provide live accompaniment to a stunning vocal recording featuring Lucciano Pavarotti.
A complimentary reception with refreshments will be held during intermission.
