We'll be kicking off The Horn Pond Summer Concert Series on Friday, June 22nd at 6 p.m. with MaryBeth Maes!

MaryBeth will be doing a fun upbeat set geared towards kids, perfect for the end of the school year!

The rain date for this concert is Friday, June 29th.

MaryBeth has been singing and playing guitar on stage from the age of 10, and performing and writing music with bands in the New England area for over 25 years.

She started in local Boston venues at the age of 17 performing original rock music.

She performs with her band The Marybeth Maes Band, as well as her husband Brian’s band, Barry Goudreau’s Engine Room, and fronts the all-female Aerosmith cover band Aerochix.

She was classically trained as a teenager, and has had opportunities opening for national acts with her husband Brian such as Pat Benatar, and Eddie Money and performing on some of Boston's big stages.

MaryBeth worked with the International House of Blues Foundation as part of a band (Boston Blues Schoolhouse) with a scripted show, performing for and educating school-aged children about the blues, it’s origin/history and much more.

She currently performs for and works with children of all ages independently and with the Coordinated Family and Community Engagement of the North Shore and Salem, bringing her children’s music program to local schools, libraries and at private daycares.

She is currently performing for the older generation as part of her work at senior centers and assisted living facilities, and teaching vocal lessons to children and teens.

This event is possible due to the generous sponsor Liberty Bay Credit Union.
