Join us for the 10th annual Ice Capella, Friday, January 31, 7:30 p.m. at Concord-Carlisle High School (CCHS) Auditorium, 500 Walden Street, Concord, Mass., where you can hear local high school and college a capella groups perform a wide variety of your favorite songs—without instrumental accompaniment.

Always a seasonal favorite, this year’s lineup includes a mix of all-male, all-female and mixed groups including:

• The Charlie Chords (Berklee College of Music, Boston), who boast “harmonies tighter than standing room on the Green line;”
• Aural Fixation (Boston University), described as the school’s “sassiest all-female a capella group”;
• Take Notes (CCHS), the school’s new a capella group;
• Rock Paper Scissors (Lexington High School);
• Accent A Cappella and Acafellas (Lincoln-Sudbury High School);
• The Northern Lights (Newton North High School);
• The Gryphtones (Cambridge School of Weston); and,
• The Town Criers (Weston High School).

“We are thrilled to bring this very special and entertaining event back to CCHS for our tenth year, and showcase these talented young performers,” said Mary-Lynne Bohn, CYT’s Board President.

“The groups, which range from high school to college and include several CYT students and performers, amaze the audience every year with their skilled vocals and harmonies.”

Tickets are $10 and may be purchased at the door or online at www.concordyouththeatre.org.
