The MBTA will be providing a round-trip, special event commuter rail train from Boston to the Elton John concerts at Gillette Stadium on July 27 and 28. The special event train will depart from South Station and arrive in Foxborough one hour before the show starts on both July 27 and 28.
After leaving South Station, the train will stop at Back Bay and Dedham Corp before arriving at its final destination of Foxboro Station.
The schedule for July 27 and 28 can be found here:
- Depart South Station: 6:05 PM
- Depart Back Bay: 6:10 PM
- Depart Dedham Corp: 6:25 PM
- Arrive at Foxboro Station: 7:00 PM
o NOTE: Train will depart Foxboro Station 30 minutes after the concert ends
Roundtrip tickets are $20 and can be purchased at South Station, North Station, Back Bay Station or on the mTicket app. Tickets for the Wednesday and Thursday event trains will be sold separately and need to be purchased for the correct corresponding date.
Advanced Ticket Purchase Required
Tickets must be purchased prior to boarding the event train. Please note: This is a special event train and ticket sales will be stopped once the maximum capacity is reached. *Regular Commuter Rail tickets and passes are not valid for this special event train.
Riders are also reminded that any prohibited items that do not comply with the stadium’s Clear Bag Policy will not be permitted on the train. Also, no personal items may be left on the train during the concert.
