Amy Fairchild is a multi-award winning songwriter and recording artist living in Boston, MA.

Her accolades are many including winning the Lilith Fair Talent Competition, taking home a top Kerrville Folk Festival and first prizes in The John Lennon Songwriting Competition, Maxell Song of the Year and the Billboard World Song Competitions among others.

With the release of her 2002 record, “Mr. Heart (produced by Adam Steinberg) she hit her stride and found her true voice.

Dave Marsh said, “If there still was a recording industry, this would come out on a major label and would be such a big hit you’d be sick of her by now.

Not many people make records this good.”

In June 2014 she released her self-titled third record to the acclaim of the best music writers in the industry including the legendary Steve Morse.

With 3 videos in support of the record worthy of the best airplay from the MTV days, she released a fourth record, “Nobody’s Satellite” (2017, again produced by Adam Steinberg).

Mike Greenblatt at The Aquarian Weekly says this of the new record, “When singer/songwriter Amy Fairchild released her impressive 2014 self-titled cd, it was so good that I fell in love with her immediately.

'Nobody’s Satellite' is even better.

Twenty years in she’s just reaching her near-brilliant stride.”

Juliana Nash is a doer.

She led the major label rock band Talking to Animals in the ‘90s, co-founded one of Brooklyn’s most beloved bars/venues, Pete’s Candy Store, and penned the internationally-performed, award-winning musical Murder Ballad.

But she’s done so while suffering loss, betrayal, addiction, depression, divorce, and housing disputes.

Now, at 58, Nash returns to her musical roots with Pennies In Time, an eight song collection reasserting her place as a powerhouse vocalist, evocative songwriter, and confident performer.

Pennies In Time comprises real stories hard earned from a life of living and doing.

“These are songs of mine from over the years that I never recorded,” Nash says, “and specifically, each has a meaning in my life now.” Themes center around circularity — aging, death, money, and memories.

Two songs in particular, “Twist of Fate” and “Indiana Angel,” are reinventions hearkening back to Murder Ballad (which will be reopening in London this summer.

Nash reunited with one of her oldest friends and musical colleagues, the guitarist, producer, and engineer Kevin Salem to record at his own Woodstock studio in December 2021.

Joined by drummer Tony Mason and fellow Talking to Animals alumni, bassist Greg Porter and guitarist Thomas Juliano, their renewed camaraderie and collaboration also highlight the circular themes of the record — proving that the most important people always stick around — and their expressive musicianship helps bring Nash’s emotionally honest songs to life.

Taken together, Pennies In Time proves that not only is Nash still capable of making great music, but that the right time to keep doing so is now.
