Starting here in Boston in the 1970’s with his alt-country band Chuck McDermott and Wheatstraw Chuck built a following from Toronto to New Orleans.He later moved to California where he formed a new band and moonlighted as the musical sidekick to Americana songwriting legend John Stewart.
Chuck has released two albums in the last few years that have earned the praise of artists like Buddy Miller, Roseanne Cash and Stephen Stills.
Accompanied by some of New England’’s finest players, prepare for an evening of Corn-fed, gospel-tinged, soulful roots rhythm americana music.
