Two local singer/songwriters, Ethan Rossiter and Joel Jerome, return to the Backroom stage for a night of music.

Rossiter will be celebrating the release of his new EP called 'Last Glass of Wine.' We hope you can make it!

Ethan Rossiter, a local singer/songwriter, makes a return to the stage (this time with a full band!) to play a set of his catchy, up-beat tunes...songs filled with honest lyrics about approaching the road of mid-life and beyond.

He will also dip into some older tunes from his former bands, Spacecake and then The Hartwells.

Joel Jerome - Joel Jerome is a singer/songwriter originally from Raymond, Maine.

His experiences of isolation, juxtaposed with a lifelong commitment to adventure, travel, and success in the wider world provide a starting point for his craft.

The rebirth of Americana and its themes of beauty, desolation and loneliness in American life are deeply embedded in Joel's music.

Chasing, Joel's sophomore album was released in October of 2020.

With multi-award winning producer David Brophy at the helm, Chasing takes us into multiple landscapes including the rural heroin epidemic, the sinking of a World War II aircraft carrier and a character managing the ups and downs of the human spirit.

Joel is the recipient of the Clouzine international music awards 2018 Best Acoustic Song “My Retreat” and 2020 Best Americana Song “Answering the call”.

'Somewhere between folk, country and indie rock, 'Chasing' follows a story of addiction and pain but the song's melody line keeps you committed despite the despair.' Gottlieb, Jed.

'Singer-composer-guitarist Joel Jerome has no problem being told that his music is all over the place because, in his case, that’s a compliment.

Even a cursory listen to his newest album “Chasing” reveals that he’s adept at writing and performing different styles of songs.' Symkus, Ed.

2 time Clouzine International Music Award winner:
2018: Best Acoustic Song Award for “My Retreat”
2020: Best Americana Composition for “Answering the Call”
