Explore the violin across Syrian Jewish, Russian, Jewish & traditional Greek cultures with music by Beth Bahia Cohen!Beth has been playing traditional Greek music on the violin & several types of lyras for many years, learning from & performing with violin & lyra players from Andros, Sifnos, Kythnos, Crete, Epiros, Macedonia, & elsewhere.
Beth has performed nationally in concerts at Greek dance symposiums.
Today, she leads the Berklee Greek Ensemble & the Berklee Global Strings Ensemble.
Light reception & open top shelf bar follows the concert!

We highly recommend taking public transit to the Boston Synagogue. It is a 5 minute walk from Science Park or North Station on the green and orange lines, a 10 minute walk from Charles MGH station on the red line, and a 2 minute walk from the nearest Blue Bike station. Limited parking is available.
