THE LEN PRICE 3 - Weaned on the raw, passionate, two-minute tunes of the Who, the Kinks, and the Clash, the Len Price 3 are a high-energy garage combo from the Medway district of North Kent in the United Kingdom.

Comprised of Glenn Page on guitar and vocals, Steve Huggins on bass, and Neil Fromow on drums (no; no one in the band is named Len Price), the Len Price 3 got their start at a bar in Maidstone where bands could pay for the privilege of rehearsing in front of the drinking customers.

When the trio were banned for playing too loud, they simply changed their name and booked another gig under the new moniker a few weeks later.

Eventually, the band found an audience for their revved-up, no-nonsense sound, and shared stages with a wide variety of noted acts, from the Libertines to the Buff Medways (featuring British garage icon Billy Childish).

In 2005, the Len Price 3 came to the attention of the Australian label Laughing Outlaw Records, who signed the band and released their debut single, 'Christian in the Desert' b/w 'Dorolea,' as well as their first album, Chinese Burn.

The album received strong reviews and the band toured extensively in the United Kingdom, as well as coming to America for the first time to play the 2006 South by Southwest Music Conference.

In 2006, the Len Price 3 signed with Wicked Cool Records, a new label founded by garage rock maven Steven Van Zandt.

However, cross talk between the group, Wicked Cool, and Laughing Outlaw prevented their second LP, Rent a Crowd, from reaching stores until May 29, 2007.

A third effort, the slightly slicker and less-tethered-to-the-garage-sounding Pictures, arrived in early 2010.

After a long break that included a perhaps unsurprising change in labels, the band returned in early 2014 with a new album, Nobody Knows.

In an interview with Vice Magazine, Billy Childish described the Len Price 3 as a group who took his songs and simply added a pop edge to them.

Angry at the insult, the Len Price 3 shot back with a song about their accuser, 'Childish Words.' It was the lead-off track on the band's 2017 album Kentish Longtails.

THE CHELSEA CURVE - “The trio take the best parts of powerpop, punk, mod, rock-’n’-soul and everything in between to create something that sounds fresh yet familiar and fully conceived.

Kinda like The Muffs took on Elvis Costello as an additional member.” ADD TO WANTLIST, NICK, APRIL 2022

Inspired by Boston and British culture, and properly bonded over a love of ‘70s punk and the mod style and sound, The Chelsea Curve are composed of Linda Pardee (bass and vocals) and Tim Gillis (guitar and vocals), with Ron Belanger (drums) holding down the steady backbeat.

The band launched The Singles Scene in 2021, an eight-month rollout of one new song every four weeks, earning a steady presence on both social media and in-the-know radio stations and shows around the world.

The success of The Singles Scene led directly into The Chelsea Curve’s March 2022 debut record ‘All The Things’ via red-hot indie label Red On Red Records, which earned widespread blog and media praise and global indie radio airplay.

From there, the stages grew larger, as did the crowds: The band played the 2022 Boston Calling Music Festival, skipped across the Atlantic for a UK tour, and held court at scooter rallies from Boston to Las Vegas.

Spring of 2023 found the band releasing their latest single “How Can I (Resist You)?” racking up rave reviews and airplay.

More new music will follow this summer and fall.

Buckle up!

Released in June 2023, JUSTINE AND THE UNCLEAN’s second full-length album The Signal Light features hard-rocking, super melodic songs.

The band includes singer/songwriter/guitarist Justine Covault (Malachite, Grand Theft Auto) and guitarist Charles Hansen (Rock Bottom, Tom Baker & The Snakes, Gymnasium and The Handymen) bassist Janet Egan King (Justine’s partner in crime from Malachite and Swank), and drummer Jim Janota (Rock Bottom, Upper Crust, The Bags).

Since the release of their critically acclaimed 2017 debut album Get Unclean, they’ve cast an enduring spell throughout New England and the world with an explosive, infectious blend of what Blurt Magazine called “rip-snortin’.

.

.glam punk/power pop/garage rock” that has earned comparisons to The Buzzcocks and Van Halen.
