We are excited to announce our newly renovated venue, the c.1829 Steeple Playhouse, located at 159 William Street in downtown New Bedford.

Early bird prices: General admission seating $25, Reserved Café Table Seating $45.

After 11/27/23 the prices are $35 and $55.

All tickets are available at or by calling the Your Theatre Box Office at (508) 993-0772.

The festival takes place rain or shine, as it is indoors.

We are handicapped accessible and there is ample parking on the street, in the lot adjacent to the building on South Sixth St., as well as in the Elm Street Parking Garage and the Zeiterion Garage; all FREE on Sunday.

This year's headliner is the Joel LaRue Smith Trio featuring Lydia Harrell on vocals.

Afro-Cuban rhythmic patterns, complex Jazz harmonies, and adroit improvisations from this talented trio; adding the silky and powerful vocals from Lydia Harrell.

Back by popular demand is Southcoast Jazz Orchestra, a 17 piece ensemble of classic big band sound.

In addition to SJO, the fun and talented Ethan Feldman Trio will open the festival.

This year New Bedford JazzFest is pleased to partner with local favorite lunch spot Destination Soups, who will be providing soups and sandwiches for purchase.

We will also have the famous Dorothy Cox Chocolates for sale to sweeten the day.

Music, drink, food and fun in an amazing historic venue!
