Vance, Gilbert is considered by many to be an integral part of the national folk scene.
His songs, while frequently employing sophisticated melodies and harmonies that demonstrate his jazz roots, also reveal his gift for storytelling .
Vance has released 13 albums and opened for a diverse collection of artists including Aretha Franklin, Arlo Guthrie, and Anita Baker.
His latest album, The Mother of Trouble, was released in May.
Doors open at 7 p.m., and the show will start at 7:30.
