Called “a phenomenon” by theLos Angeles Times, pianist Stewart Goodyear joins the Criers for a season finale highlighting works from some of the brightest stars of their generations.

Franz Schreker’s lush and romantic Intermezzo & Scherzo emerges shimmering, followed by Goodyear’s own Eclipse for Piano & String Orchestra: a work that mesmerizes like a celestial event.

Felix Mendelssohn’s Concerto for Piano & String Orchestra in A minor follows, showcasing the composer’s youthful brilliance and intricate interplay between piano and strings.

The concert concludes with Teresa Carreño’s Serenade for Strings; a work imbued with warmth and elegance, providing a perfect ending to a stellar season.
