StoopFest is a free, vibrant new music event designed to bring the South Boston community together while supporting local businesses.

This family-friendly, walkable event features live music performances at various venues across the west side of South Boston.

StoopFest is scheduled for May 31.

Performances will take place at various locations, including local businesses, churches, the Boys & Girls Club, South Boston NDC properties, and even private stoops.

Unlike traditional 'porch fests,' StoopFest reflects South Boston’s unique personality by transforming familiar neighborhood spots into stages.

The event emphasizes community spirit, grassroots organizing, and a celebration of local culture.

StoopFest is a collaborative effort by the South Boston NDC and the South Boston Chamber of Commerce.

The event is volunteer-driven and relies on grassroots efforts to bring it to life.

Attendees can enjoy live music from a mix of performers, including children’s groups and professional musicians.

A walkable route connecting performance locations, from West Broadway to areas on Old Colony and Dorchester Street.

This is a rain-or-shine celebration of community, music, and local businesses.

The first year’s goal is to feature 10–12 performance locations, providing stopping points for attendees along a walkable route.
