For 14 years, The American Who have been – according to 'The Boston Globe' – “rocking with the same power as the original.” We are veteran musicians who love the Who and love playing for Who fans, who never seem to mind that only rarely do we actually smash our instruments.

Band members are: Neil Porter (lead singer), Herb Boers (guitar), Tom Reid (bass guitar), Sal Chinappi (keys) and Pat Crann (drums).

Tom, the group’s elder statesman, contributed to the Who film “The Kids Are Alright” way back in the 1970s (look for his name in the credits).

However, in true Keith Moon fashion, Pat Crann gets the last word by pointing out that he remains the self-proclaimed best-looking member of the band!
