THE CHELSEA CURVE want to make you move.

But how you do it is up to you.

Inspired by Boston and British culture, the mod-pop trio switched on in 2020 with a singular mission to create infectious, punchy, sing-along rock and roll.

Armed with an arsenal of catchy tunes appealing to both the clubs and the pubs, and properly bonded over a love of ‘70s punk and the mod style and sound, The Chelsea Curve are Linda Pardee (bass/vocals), Tim Gillis (guitar/vocals), and Bruce Caporal (drums/vocals).

A series of eight monthly singles in 2021, aptly titled The Singles Scene, led to the band’s 2022 debut album All The Things (Red on Red Records), which earned global press and radio airplay, including regular spins on SiriusXM’s Underground Garage.

From there, the stages grew larger, as did the crowds: Playing Boston Calling Music Festival, skipping across the Atlantic for a UK tour, and holding court at scooter rallies from Boston to Las Vegas.

In June, the band re-issued, and re-packaged in a deluxe CD, their debut album with added bonus tracks, aptly titled All The Things (And More).

Freshly outfitted by 66 Clothing and Mod Shoes, the band is now looking and sounding sharper than ever!

With a new record on the horizon, and partnered with Rum Bar Records and The Sound Cove, The Chelsea Curve are quickly forging their own rock and roll path connecting the past to the present.

And in their world, there is no standing still.

SPEEDFOSSIL is the creation of singer/songwriter Garret Vandermolen, whose latest single, “Silver Lining” was described as a “seriously great garage pop/rock track that is catchier than it has any right to be” (If It’s Too Loud, 2024).

Recorded and mixed in one day at Abbey Road Studios in London, the single comes hot on the heels of Speedfossil’s new EP entitled Room With A VU, Vol.1, their debut release on Boston’s Sonic Escort label.

Over five separate days in 2023, Garret worked with engineer and co-producer David Minehan (The Neighborhoods, The Replacements) at his Boston-based Woolly Mammoth studio, recording and mixing five songs.

It was a reunion for Garret and David after a 25-year hiatus!

Playing on the recordings are Michael Scotti (bass, vocals), Dan Jordan (guitar/vocals,) and Chris Walsh (drums).

These musicians have all played with Garret at various Speedfossil gigs since 2016 and make up the live band that is supporting all of these releases.

As with all of Speedfossil’s previous releases, Garret handled vocals, guitars, some bass, keyboards, and some percussion.

In addition to playing live shows, Speedfossil will have a new, limited edition release on LP and CD, Time Flies: 10 Years of Speedfossil, available in October of 2025.

COLD EXPECTATIONS are a moody ’n dark indie-rock power trio from Brighton, MA.

Formed in 2016 and with several releases under their belts ( on Rum Bar Records, The Sound Cove & Red On Red Records), as well as performing in the 2024 Rock ’N Roll Rumble, they have shape-shifted their own sound over time, crafting 21st century pop songs that borrow from the post-punk & new wave past.

HAPPY LITTLE CLOUDS is a genre-blurring indie rock band from Boston crafting emotionally charged, melody-forward music with a raw edge and radiant heart.

Their self-described sound “grit-pop” weaves the brightness of power pop with the nerve of post-grunge and the introspection of 90s and 2000s alt-rock.

Think the intensity of Wolf Alice with the melodic shimmer of Metric and the lyrical bite of PJ Harvey.

Jac Mestel's unfiltered, heart-on-sleeve lyrics entwine with catchy-AF melodies and emerge as vocals that have been known to turn heads.

Derek Bergstrom's creamy bass counter-melodies mix with Mestel's driving guitar.

Jess Townsend's (World/Inferno, Ketman) unique, expressive drumming is the underlying pulse that brings the band to life.

Built on a foundation of vulnerability, loud guitars, fresh drum beats, and fearless storytelling, Happy Little Clouds has emerged as a compelling voice in the New England indie scene.

CORIN ASHLEY is a lifelong musician who formerly led Boston mod-pop heroes The Pills in the 2000s, as they toured extensively around the U.S., Canada, and Europe.

Over a 10-year span, The Pills released three full-length albums, toured and performed with The B-52s, The Libertines, Supergrass, Sloan, Edwin McCain, The Wrens, Juliana Hatfield, The Smithereens, Nada Surf, Jimmy Cliff, and pretty much every one-hit early 2000s alternative radio band with a number in their name.

He has released three solo albums featured contributions from Kay Hanley (Letters To Cleo), Ken Stringfellow (The Posies), drummer Dave Mattacks (Fairport Convention/XTC), Edward Ball (TV Personalities) and Martin Carr and released his new singe “Empathy Centre” this summer.

ERIC BARLOW - Dynamic rock and roller, Eric Barlow, grew up in New England.

As a member of The Banjo Spiders in the late 90’s, he toured the East Coast and the South, released several singles, including “Gilligan’s Daughter”, which was reviewed in Billboard.

In the 21st century, he co-founded the terrific power pop band, The Great Bandini, with Scott Janovitz.

Eric was very active in Boston, also working with David Minehan, Paul Kolderie and Jake Brennan, and then relocating to NYC in 2006.

In NYC, Eric has worked with PT Walkley, The Robin Electric, and Swoon.

After being AWOL from producing music for some time, the urge to write and record songs returned.

He began releasing singles in the early 2020’s.

His debut solo album, “Still Moving Parts” is ready for release and will be brought to you via the new label SONIC ESCORT.

Singles from this album have been released on The Sound Cove digital singles label.
