She brings her native Minnesotan charm to all her live performances, sharing stories, laughs and general quirkiness with her audiences.
She is a New England Music Award nominee twice over and a graduate of the Boston Conservatory at Berklee’s Musical Theater program.
During her time at the Conservatory, she helped pilot the Songwriting Emphasis program within the Theater Department, helping to develop the curriculum that still exists today.
Strasser has performed in festivals around Greater New England including The Boston Arts Festival, The Town & the City Festival and more.
She has toured with and opened for national artists such as Chris Trapper (of the Push Stars), Lucy Wainwright Roche, Antigone Rising, and Brooke Annibale.
When she isn’t touring the country delivering her soulful pop tunes, she teaches songwriting at the Boston Conservatory at Berklee and serves as the Vice President at ArtsBridge helping to develop training programs for young artists.
She lives with her guitarist husband, Ken Budka, their son, and two fluffy cats, Bertie and Huey.
MARY CASIELLO is a Boston-area singer, songwriter, and pianist.
Her solo material is creative, quirky, and cathartic, and has received favorable comparison to artists like Sara Bareilles, Billy Joel, Ben Folds, and Carole King.
She is also a singer, songwriter and keyboardist for the energetic rock band, Three At Home, who were 2019 New England Music Award nominees for Best in Massachusetts.
The Three At Home sound is a cocktail of harmony-driven rock infused with soulful emotion.
Take the honest lyrics of Brandi Carlile, the tight harmonies of Fleetwood Mac, the passion and energy of Frank Turner, and shake it vigorously inside a bottle of Lake Street Dive throwback vibes, and you get Three At Home.
The band have received critical acclaim from publications like Medium and features in Country.
