✨ About the Artist ✨
In the language of his Puerto Rican Taino ancestors, “Yahuba” means music or 'a strong, sonorous cry.' A master percussionist, his instruments include Congas, Timbales, Bongos, assorted percussion, and vocals.
Yahuba’s charisma and passion shine through every beat—whether on tour with legends like Jerry Harrison & Adrian Belew of Talking Heads or performing with beloved bands including the Ryan Montbleau Band, The Motet, and many others.
With over 70 album recordings and countless collaborations, Yahuba’s music transcends genre, culture, and boundary.
