In this fifth annual Jammin' for Justice event, a very special line-up of local musicians joins forces to support the work of the Exoneree Network, co-founded by three Massachusetts exonerees, Sean Ellis, Victor Rosario, and the late Ray Champagne.

This year's concert theme, 'Building Beyond the Walls,' symbolizes the journey to heal and rebuild after injustice, as well as the incredible resilience that Ray, Sean, and Victor sought to uplift through their work.

It also highlights the vital work of the Exoneree Network and its ongoing impact on this community.

Musical guests include the 'Friends of Justice,' a band formed by Innocence Attorney and Jammin for Justice founder, Jeff Harris, which will perform original songs of exoneration and other tunes inspired by this year's concert theme.

In addition, jam with us to two inspiring musical groups led by exoneree musicians — 'Peace Players,' led by Milton Jones, and the 'OGs,' led by Joseph Pope and Albert Brown, who will perform tunes that they first wrote and performed together while wrongfully incarcerated for crimes they did not commit.

The event will also include remarks by CPCS Innocence Program Director (and Running for Innocence team co-founder) Lisa Kavanaugh; Stephen Pina (Community Engagement Associate, Exoneree Network) who is free, but is still fighting his case; and Shar'Day Taylor (Social Service Advocate, Exoneree Network) will speak about the Exoneree Network's work empowering people and their families to heal and rebuild after suffering the trauma of long-term incarceration.

As in years past, concert proceeds will benefit the Running for Innocence fund and the Exoneree Network, to ensure that another inspiring group of people freed from Massachusetts prisons for crimes they did not commit will have the opportunity to attend the 2026 Innocence Network Conference in Chicago.
