THE EYE CAPTAIN - What do you do after a successful encore performance, originally meant to be a one off of Pink Floyd’s Wish You Were Here done strictly for the fun of it.

For the future members of The Eye Captain, the answer was clear: keep the vibe, but make it original.

The desire to be in a tribute band just wasn't there, but the inspiration was undeniable.

The result of that inspiration is 'Jane and Milo in the Afterglow,' a new song that didn’t quite want to end.

What began as a standalone song evolved as pieces were added with each session; instrumental bits connected what might have been hooky, quirky pop songs on their own, and certain parts made it clear they wanted to recur.

Finally, capped by a string of exactly 17 triumphant E flat chords, the 40-minute space-rock operetta was complete.

While it is decidedly NOT a Pink Floyd knock-off, you may notice a nod and a wink here and there.

A piece this ambitious is meant to be experienced live.

On Thursday, November 6th, The Eye Captain will perform 'Jane and Milo in the Afterglow' in its entirety at The Burren.

This is a show you won't hear on the radio or be able to stream in separate bits without losing its identity.

For those who want to take the journey home, the full piece will be officially released as a single (!!) on October 31, 2025.

The Eye Captain is: Ken Rothman, Eric Donahue, Phil Aiken, Dave Lieb, and Andrew Jones (and still with them in spirit, Dave Mirabella).

For this special performance, they will be joined by guest vocalists Jen Kearney, Anthony Kaczynski, and Paul “Pip” Everett.

Don't miss the chance to see this unique musical event.

Buckle up and get your tickets for The Burren on November 6th.

AIRPORT is big twang, singable, sweet, hooky, jangly, old school 70s-inspired rock.

It's a K-tel record collection or an AM radio station.

A Crowded House/Tom Petty/Teenage Fanclub/Squeeze mashup.

Chiming chords, sugary melodies, and stacked harmonies driving down the highway with hand-cranked windows rolled down.

Coffee-drinking, whiskey-drinking, melodic, sing-along, 'remember when?' memory-jolting, Americana yacht rock.

The Boston Globe's Jed Gottlieb says 'Airport’s a bar band Beach Boys, a college rock Steely Dan, the Band with polish.' And Vanyaland's Michael Marotta says Airport hits 'a sweet spot of ’70s-kissed blues rock and prog-pop, and wouldn’t sound out of place on a summer playlist alongside 'Eye In The Sky' or 'Layla.''
