boston patriots day parade 2026 photoThe City of Boston invites you to the 247th Patriots Day Parade on April 18 at 9 a.m.

SCHEDULE:

• 9 a.m. - Parade starts at City Hall Plaza

• 9:30 a.m. - (Paul Revere Mall) Reenactment of the ride of Paul Revere

The parade concludes with a reenactment by the National Lancers of Paul Revere’s famous midnight ride on the Paul Revere Mall in front of Old North Church & Historic Site. This year is the 251st anniversary of Patriots Day.

The parade route is as follows:

Starting point: Cambridge Street to Tremont Street

Left onto Bromfield Street.
Left onto Washington Street.
Right onto State Street
Left onto Congress Street.
Right onto Hanover Street, northeasterly on Hanover Street.
End point: Paul Revere Mall.

About 500 people are expected to march in the parade. There will be parking restrictions and road closures for the parade, so it's best not to drive your own car. Public transportation, like the MBTA, is a good option, and buying a round-trip ticket can make your return faster. Walking is also a great way to get around.
