The Tanglewood Marionettes is an award-winning marionette company that has been enchanting audiences throughout New England and beyond since 1993. The Dragon King is an underwater fantasy based on Chinese folklore.

Acclaimed as the Tanglewood Marionette’s “best production to date,” the Dragon King tells the tale of a wise Grandmother who, in the midst of a terrible drought, journeys to the bottom of the sea to implore the Dragon King to return the precious rains to the land above.

Tickets go on sale Wednesday, February 1, 2012. All proceeds from the performance will benefit the Eliot-Pearson Children’s School Scholarship Fund 100%.

Tickets can be ordered from: Eliot-Pearson Children’s School, 105 College Avenue, Medford, MA (617) 627-3434. Order Tickets. This event has sold out for the past two years, so be sure to order tickets early!
