Acclaimed children's author Cynthia Levinson is launching her new nonfiction book, 'Watch Out for Flying Kids!
How Two Circuses, Two Countries, and Nine Kids Confront Conflict and Build Community,' at a trapeze center.
The event will include a multimedia presentation about the book and performances by young aerialists on trapeze and silks.
The book tells the stories of two social circuses--one composed of urban and suburban children in St.
Louis and the other of Arabs and Jews in Israel.
Refreshments will be served.
A percentage of proceeds from book sales will be donated to Circus Harmony and the Galilee Circus.
