Reagle Music Theatre of Greater Boston will present Remembering the 40’s, a musical tribute to the men and women of the war generation, for three performances only April 22-23, 2017.

Remembering the 40’s is Reagle’s original musical revue conceived and directed by Producing Artistic Director Robert J. Eagle.

This musical timeline recreates the era in living color with the swing sound of the Big Bands, Rosie the Riveter, the USO, World Renowned Precision Dancers and a colorful recreation of the Rexall Radio Hour.

Watch as citizens become soldiers and a country rallies to their support.

To purchase tickets or for more information, visit www.reaglemusictheatre.com, call 781-891-5600, or visit the theater box office.

Families of all ages will feel pride and honor for the soldiers who fought for us and those that kept the fires burning at home.

Veterans of all wars are honored guests with free admission; student groups are welcomed.

Remembering the 40’s is a vibrant musical history of the war years from the Home Front to the War Front.

Experience Bob Hope’s USO tours, and the Rexall Radio Hour featuring a cavalcade of stars from Jack Benny to Abbott and Costello.

Discover the music of Glen Miller, The Andrews Sisters, Rodgers and Hammerstein, Kate Smith, and Burns and Allen performed by a full, live orchestra.

Repertoire ranges from the morale-boosting “This Is the Army” and “Boogie Woogie Bugle Boy” to the sentimental “I’ll Be Home for Christmas” and “I’ll Be Seeing You.” Hearing these evocative songs puts you right in the shoes of soldiers and their sweethearts around the world, longing to be together.

Remembering the 40’s is directed by Robert J.

Eagle and choreographed by Susan M.Chebookjian, with music direction by Paul S.Katz.

The show will run for three performances on Saturday, April 22 at 2:00 and 7:00 pm, and Sunday, April 23 at 2:00 pm.

All performances at Reagle Music Theatre (617 Lexington St, Waltham, MA, 02452).
