The event is part of WSHC Black History Month celebration and its Annual Meeting.

The celebration will include the annual statement by Whittier Street Health Center President and CEO, Frederica M. Williams, a presentation by Wanda McClain, a musical performance, storytelling and poetry readings.

Brigham’s and Women’s Head of Community Health Centers, Wanda McClain, will be honored with the Whittier’s 2018 Black History Leadership Award at Whittier Street Health Center.

The award will recognize McClain’s major contributions to elevating the health status and health outcomes of the diverse populations in Boston.
