Guaranteed to delight young and old audiences alike Flora & Ulysses explores the true meaning of friendship, family and hope in a whimsical and humorous way.

A heartwarming play adapted from a Kate DiCamillo’s novel, Flora & Ulysses follows a 10-year-old girl who loves superhero comics, as she rescues a squirrel from a vacuum cleaner.

Miraculously, the accident grants the squirrel super strength, flight, and the ability to type poetry, leading to many funny adventures with all the other quirky characters.

The original novel was recognized as one of the most distinguished contribution to American literature for children in 2014.

Located in Boston’s Fenway neighborhood, Wheelock Family Theatre is easily accessible from Rt. 9, Rt. 2, and Storrow Drive.
The theatre is located on the Riverway, between the intersections of Brookline Ave and Longwood Ave.
Wheelock Family Theatre is a five-minute walk from both the Fenway or Longwood MBTA stops on the Green Riverside line (D train).
