This holiday season Colonial Chorus Players is proud to present the premiere of A Little Women Christmas, a new radio play based on the beloved novel by Louisa May Alcott.

A Little Women Christmas will be performed December 5–7, 2025, at the Old Hose House Theater, 1249 Main Street, Reading.

SYNOPSIS

A Little Women Christmas is a play within a play.

Set in CBS Radio Studio in Hollywood in 1950, the Lux Radio Theatre is performing a radio play that centers around a year in the life of Jo, Meg, Beth, and Amy from Louisa May Alcott’s beloved novel.

The show is performed before a studio audience, complete with an announcer, sound effects done live on stage, radio ads, and even famous Hollywood actors from the 1950s.
