Each session will be focused on engaging young explorers and their adult companions with the natural surroundings for a memorable experience.
We offer the wonderful real, live sights, smells and textures of the garden for participants to touch, feel, hear, see, watch, and taste, in a playful, relaxed, hands-on atmosphere.
Participants may get the opportunity to smell flowers, taste herbs, touch a worm or frog, see a snake, pet our friendly collection of barnyard animals, and most importantly: it’s okay to get dirty.
The 90-minute session will occur once a week, for four successive weeks, rain or shine.
We will focus on a different theme each week, ranging from barnyard animals, to fairy houses and wildlife.
Please dress for the weather.
We’ll take a snack break halfway through each session.
Please bring your own snacks and drinks.
Closed-toed shoes and socks for both adults and children are required.
Take the opportunity to step away from electronic devices and focus on the living, breathing, natural flora and fauna around us.
Children, aged 3 to 5, accompanied by parent/guardian or caregiver.
One adult per child.
We welcome program participants of all abilities, races, faiths, sexual orientations, gender identities and family profiles.
