September is the time of year when fall is starting to peek around the corner, while summer still seems to be holding on.

Some mornings could be cold, while some could be hot!

We will search for these subtle seasonal changes.

Do we spot some leaves changing?

Where did the sunflower petals go?

What wildlife is on the move?

Your little farm explorers will become fully immersed in what life is like here at Chestnut Hill Farm.

Each morning will be a new learning experience.

We will begin by learning about a seasonal topic based on what is happening in nature or the yearly cycle on the farm.

We will take a walk on the farm, relating what we’ve learned to everything we are seeing!

We may go on a nature scavenger hunt, look for wildlife, search for animal signs, or visit the farm animals.

We will also make something together for your little one to treasure at home.

This could be a related craft, something for the wildlife in your yard, planted seeds, or something yummy in a jar!

This program begins on Thursday, September 8th.

Your admission fee covers all four weeks in the series.

There are no refunds for missed dates.

The dates of this series are as follows:
• September 8
• September 16
• September 23
• September 30

This is a monthly sign-up.

Each month will have different themes, and you are welcome to attend as many months as you would like!

We have an indoor space to use for art and other activities, but we will also be spending time outdoors so make sure to come with layers!

This program is recommended for children age 2 years 9 months to age 5.

Adult supervision is required; this is not a drop off program.

Little farmers and their grownups should wear closed-toe shoes and clothes that can get a little dirty.

Fee covers one child and an adult.

Younger siblings between 1.5 and 2.9 years are welcome with an additional fee of $12/$18 for member/nonmembers.

Siblings under age 1.5 can attend at no additional cost.

Please note, while we love dogs, they are not permitted at Chestnut Hill Farm.
