At the conclusion of The Race, teams will gather at the Maxwell’s house in Sudbury for awards, a BBQ dinner, DJ and entertainment where the winning team will be revealed.
The mission of SMILE Mass is to make a difference in the lives of special needs children and their families. SMILE Mass will give handicapped children and their families wonderful life experiences and memories by creating fully accessible vacation rentals throughout the United States, with our first project on Cape Cod.
SMILE Mass recognizes that locating and renovating a suitable Cape Cod property is a big undertaking. SMILE Mass has therefore created Phase 1, which will give immediate relief to families with special needs children. Phase 1 is to purchase and donate 100 beach wheelchairs to public beaches on Cape Cod. By doing this, SMILE Mass is now offering families with special needs children the ability to have a day at the beach, which previously was almost impossible.
