Start Strong. Finish Stronger. It is never too early to instill the importance of healthy living in children.

That is why the Tufts Health Plan 10K for Women offers a 1K fitness event for kids.

This 1K event around the historic Boston Common provides a terrific way for kids to exercise and meet other children who share an interest in fitness.

After their mini workout, participants can enjoy a healthy snack, get their face painted and more!

So be sure to bring your family with you on race day to enjoy the festivities, and more importantly, to cheer you on to your strongest 10K finish ever!

10:30 am – 1K for Kids
Kick off the day with this wonderful event for children of all ages. It not only promotes the importance of exercise, it’s a fun experience for your kids to enjoy.

10:45 am – Cash Grant Presentation
Tufts Health Plan presents $10,000 cash grant to selected organization.

10:50 am – Pre-Race Warm Up
Loosen up and get your body pumping before taking to the course.

NOON – RACE START

1:30 pm – Closing Ceremonies:

1:30 pm – Elite Program
1:40 pm – Post-Race Stretch
1:50 pm – Age categories as they become available
