Race day is a celebration of their lives, while raising money for several local charities, funding scholarships and also providing a great running event enjoyed by generations and supported by local establishments.
Rain or shine, runners and volunteers come from all around to join together in the names of fallen firefighters and to run a scenic 10k race around Dorchester Bay, then enjoy a couple hours of trophy and prize giveaways.
Everyone is welcome and a great time is had by all.
Please join us for the fun on October 19, 2014 at 9:00am, and see why over 1000 runners keep coming back year after year!
This year we dedicate the Firefighters 10K to our fallen heroes Lieutenant Edward J.
Walsh Jr. and Firefighter Michael R.
Kennedy.
