Take a tour of the facilities, and meet Director Karen First, and our highly qualified teachers, who have extensive backgrounds in early childhood and nature education.
Explore with us our nature-based, emergent curriculum which promotes language, math, and social development.
At the Nature Preschool we have beautiful classrooms, outdoor play areas, and gardens for your child to enjoy - harvesting vegetables, exploring the trails on the property, and building shelters and cedar block structures in the outdoor play area.
Trees, spiders, birds, and the changing seasons are all topics that teachers use to provide an engaging context for early childhood math, literacy, and social learning.
Mass Audubon's Ipswich River Youth Education Manager Kim LoGrasso said, “We have met families from all over the North Shore who share our vision that a child’s innate sense of joy and wonder is nurtured by meaningful and frequent time spent outdoors.

From the north bound Exit 17 on Route 128 turn right. After the first turning on the right which is Toppan Lane, the Preschool is the next entrance, and is part of the Mass Audubon Endicott Wildlife Sanctuary. The driveway leads up to our beautiful school house and grounds.
