ica april school vacation week activities photoJoin us during school vacation week for hands-on art-making in the Bank of America Art Lab and interactive, youth-friendly exhibition tours of Simone Leigh!

Explore the art of motion by creating your own phenakistoscope (pronounced “feh-nah-kiss-toe-scope”). Express your imagination by drawing shapes and patterns on paper wheels. Watch them spin in a mirror to see your image come alive! Inspired by Pipilotti Rist’s Caressing Dinner Circle in the exhibition

Art Lab workshops are drop-in between the hours of 10 am and 3 pm and are first-come, first-served.

Youth 18 and under always receive FREE museum admission.

The ICA is committed to providing access to the art and artists of our time—and we do this with the incredible support of our community. Explore the +1 Membership: A free ICA membership program for youth 0-18. +1 Youth Members always can bring 1 adult guest for free to the museum!

+1 Youth Member Tour: Simone Leigh Exhibition
Discover our feature exhibition Simone Leigh in this interactive tour led by one of the ICA’s expert guides. This +1 Member exclusive tour invites youth members 12 years old and under and their +1 guest to discover the art and artists of our time during a visit to the ICA
