Families can celebrate February school vacation at Patriot Place all week long with a fun-filled schedule of activities taking place daily from Monday, Feb. 20 through Friday, Feb. 24. Line Dancing Lessons
Guests can kick off school break at Six String Grill & Stage as children ages 5-16 can enjoy line dancing lessons from 1-3 p.m. on Monday afternoon. Capacity is limited for this free event and guests will need to register in advance.
FIFA Tournament
Then from 4-6 p.m., Helix eSports will welcome guests ages 6-18 to compete in a FIFA Tournament for prizes including a signed New England Revolution jersey and Bytes gift card. FIFA enthusiasts can reserve their spot to compete at Helix’s state-of-the-art esports center here.
Ice Sculptures
February school vacation week will also give guests the chance to officially welcome Fat Tuesday to Patriot Place. Local artist Sean Fitzpatrick (Fitzy Snowman) will kick off the welcome party as he carves an ice sculpture for display outside Patriot Place’s newest dining destination on Monday at 11 a.m.
Mardi Gras Block Party
The fun continues with a Mardi Gras block party from 2-4 p.m. on Tuesday, where guests can enjoy jazz music, t-shirt and Mardi Gras memorabilia giveaways and check-in bonuses on the Advantage App during this family-friendly take on a New Orleans favorite.
The sculpture carving and block party will take place outside of Fat Tuesday, located in the North Marketplace adjacent to Tavolino and Cupcake Charlie’s.
Storytime Meet & Greet w/ Princess Belle
Wednesday will feature storytime and a meet & greet with Princess Belle, giving kids the chance to meet one of their favorite princesses. This event will take place from 10 a.m. until 12 p.m. at 200 Patriot Place and registration is required.
Cornhole Tournament
The fun continues Thursday with a cornhole tournament from 10 a.m. until 12 p.m. at 200 Patriot Place. Children ages 6-15 can sign up in advance with a partner for their chance to capture the cornhole crown.
Animal Adventures
On Friday from 11 a.m. to 12 p.m., Bass Pro Shops will welcome guests to enjoy Animal Adventures, a brand-new offering at Patriot Place. Animal Adventures will bring animals including a bush baby, Eurasian eagle owl, kinkajou and more from their rescue center as part of their continued mission to educate young children on animals from around the world.
