HOW WE MADE “THE MOVIES”
A Vacation Week Family Program Come to the Jackson Homestead for a hands-on approach to trace how projected still images went to animated feature length films.

You can check out an authentic Magic Lantern, use old-fashioned stereoscopes, and make your own zoetrope to take home!

Learn about the art and history of movie technology in the 19th and 20th centuries.

Finish your journey with a short film and popcorn!

Cost: $25 per family ($20 for members) includes museum admission, materials, and snack.
