community science vacation week at the ecotarium photoThe EcoTarium announces its upcoming Community Science Vacation Week from April 17 to 21, 2023, from 10:00 am to 5:00 pm.

This week-long event aims to inspire and engage individuals of all ages in science and environmental conservation.

During the event, participants will have the opportunity to meet an important scientist who can protect our planet - themselves!

By harnessing their powers of observation, attendees can help solve real-world problems in their community. Activities include hunting for stars, peeking at plants, tracking animal trends, and sharing discoveries.

BioBlitz Outdoor Exploration
Make Your Own Vernal Pool

The event will feature daily hands-on programs, including themes like BioBlitz!, Light Pollution Solution, and April Showers, along with Astronomy Live!.

Ongoing daily activities from 10:00 am to 4:00 pm include Project Feederwatch, Budburst, and Make Your Own Vernal Pool. In addition to the daily activities, the event will also offer Animal Discovery and Collection Connection programs.
