Join us on Friday, February 21st from 11am – 3pm during February School Vacation Week to try out a variety of everyday winter activities from the past!

Have you ever wondered what harsh New England Winter’s might have been like back in the 1800s, when our Pumping Station was just being built?

Try old-fashioned water collection tools, dye cloth using natural homemade vegetable dyes, taste a favorite winter beverage, learn how early Americans fared before the invention of the toilet, and create a balloon powered rocket sleigh – an upgrade on the old horse and carriage!
