Our next Science on Saturday K-12 presentation on the MIT campus will be Optics on November 15th in Kresge Auditorium.

This show will be presented by the MIT Society of Women Engineers, which has given a large number of K-12 presentations in the Cambridge area and has a lot of great on-stage demonstrations (and clear, simple, nonmathematical explanations) of waves, color, refraction, diffraction, polarization, etc. Student volunteers from the audience will be able to assist with the on-stage demonstrations.

After the stage show, there will also be a number of hands-on activity tables where kids can do their own experiments with different aspects of optics.
