SSF: Explore the red planet with one of MSDC's very own - R.P. Hale.

Teen Night: Future Martians? Can we live on Mars? What will we need to survive on the red planet?

RP will share the history of our scientific understanding of Mars starting with the earliest recorded observations, to NASA's first successfull flyby to the most recent discovery of recurring slope lineae by the Mars Reconnaissance Orbiter (MRO).

Come and hear about how this discovery , as well as other data from the small fleet of space crafts studying Mars, may influence future manned missions to Mars.

Teen Night: Can we live on Mars?

What will we need to survive on the red planet?

Our exploration of Mars, by orbiters and rovers, has given us a better understanding of geology and climate of the planet, but human exploration still has many hurdles to overcome.

Join us to learn more about it -- and determine if you'd be up to the challenge of becoming a real life 'Martian'.
