BJEP invites the community to celebrate Hanukkah for a day of learning emphasizing STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, and Math) projects.
The day includes a traveling program from the Museum of Science, called Night Sky, to explore the stars in a traveling planetarium, make your own flashlight (grades 3-7), and to create a dreidel mural (grades K - 2) by exploring Hanukkah through art.
There will be multiple stations set-up and attendees will rotate through the activities.
We will conclude our celebration with a special snack.
We are grateful for the support of the Waltham Cultural Council in helping bring this program to fruition.
Recommended for ages in Kindergarten through 7th grade.
The Boston Jewish Education Program (BJEP), a Jewish Sunday school and independent and vibrant Jewish learning community (K-Grade 7), instills students with a sense of joy and belonging within the Jewish community, knowledge of Jewish traditions, history and the Hebrew language.
We meet on Sundays from 9:30am-12pm at Brandeis University.
